Will Milton English returned to South Carolina by way of Virginia in 2007 to attend the Charleston School of Law. While attending school, he began clerking for Bea Whitten, primarily doing research and writing for federal court appeals. Will’s determination in his research and proficiency for writing helped him to an early graduation in 2009, and earned him a full-time position with Bea’s practice. As a full-time team member, Will focuses primarily on federal court claims, the appeals process, and assisting with the growth of the practice. Five years on, Will has excelled at helping clients through all levels of the Social Security appeals process. Will has a passion for articulating his clients’ stories, through his writing and in-person representation, and abides in the promise that his clients’ voices will never be lost in a bureaucratic shuffle.
Will and his husband, Jesse, currently reside in downtown Charleston and enjoy all that “downtown Chucktown” has to offer. Their joint interests include running along the Battery and cobblestone side streets. Will is also a self-described “treasure hunter”, and loves spending hours digging through Charleston’s many antique markets and auctions. Will and Jesse are also regular volunteers for the Historic Charleston Foundation’s Festival of Homes, and are active members and volunteers at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church.
